It is in the autumnal hearth of Quebec that in 2019, Simon Tremblay (guitar, voice), writes, composes and records the entire first five pieces of a project that he considered ephemeral and especially studio.

In January 2020, Simon approaches Richard-William Turcotte (drums) to complete the recording of his compositions.

Determined to go ahead and found a group, Simon and Richard integrate Frédéric Custeau (bass) into the young formation in May 2020.

It was in June 2020 that the very first publication of Vitrail, humbly titled `` EP '', saw the light of day and set the tone for the group with its 5 pieces nimbly balanced between shadow and light.

The three musicians quickly began the composition of their first album, starting in the summer of 2020.

Maintaining the guideline of '' EP '', the first opus to come will now sculpt the current identity of Vitrail, with a more varied material, certainly, but just as dark and captivating.
